STEM Tinkering Workshop at BOSCH – Session 1 off to a great start!
The wait is finally over for our students.
Last night we welcomed students from Grade 5 to 7 to participate in STEM Tinkering Workshops at BOSCH Head Office.
Our students (4 girls and 6 boys) represented 4 schools, to include Mt Eliza SC, Forest Hill SC, Glendal PS and Woodleigh School Penbank Campus.
Our facilitator team last night included:
Engineers from BOSCH and SIEMENS
Student Engineers from RMIT who also have partnered with VIC Hyper
Student Engineers from MONASH who also volunteer with Robogals – Monash
Our VIP tonight was Dan Bull – extreme mountaineer who has summited every continent which also includes the highest volcanoes in each continent. The youngest Australian to achieve this!
The students are part way through building a mechanical arm with 6 servos.
Great work Team!
