Great to attend today’s IoT Innovation Expo – Smart Food and Fibre at KPMG

Interesting to note that whilst we get excited about R&D in this country we’re not so good at ultimately adopting!

Thank you Peter Walsh, Shadow Minister for Agriculture in Victoria for pointing out the importance of R&D and A for Adoption.

It was also great to hear from Frank Zeichner, CEO of IoT Alliance Australia

Like your take on IoT better described as Internet of Awareness or Internet of Knowing.

Great to better understand where the opportunities lie ahead for IoT in general. It seems like we can use IoT to better solve the emerging “Wicked problems”.

These being around Energy, Water, Automated Vehicles and Agribusinesses for example.

Also a great opportunity to see the 21 exhibitors. I love this greenhouse designed by Ric Otton.
