Great to see so many rookie teams competing in the First Lego League Regionals hosted remotely on Sunday November 28.

It was so great to have teams that partner with RTL’s Adopt an Engineer compete for the first time in First Lego League. Undergraduates Hugo Markovski at Boneo PS and Lisa Stepanova at Black Rock PS did a fantastic job preparing students in Grades 5 and 6 for their very first FLL Regionals. They were up against some very strong competition.
Gemma Wildermuth, Yr 11 student at Cornish College, an accomplished FIRST competitor and RTL Student Leader stepped up as the Master of Ceremonies. She continues to inspire her peers and those following in her footsteps that are finding a newfound passion for STEM.
We look forward to seeing more schools take up FIRST programs to complement the work they do in STEM.

On Thursday 25 students from Prahran HS and Boneo PS will participate in a tour of Monash University’s Monash Makerspace. RTL are delighted to be partnering with Monash Motor Sports and look forward to offering more tours in partnership with MMS in 2022.

On the following Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th we look forward to sharing our program at Moral Fairground’s Ethical Conference – “The Future is Now”.
So good to be back participating in a mix of online and especially in person events.
