Welcome back Emily and Ethan to RTL STEM Workshops. Great to have students visiting Monash University and BOSCH IN PERSON this week!

Last night, not only were we back in person but great to see the gender composition 50/50 when you take me out of the equation. We can do this!

So good to have learners and mentors representing Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Industry sectors. It certainly takes a village to raise a child and it is no different when it comes to inspiring the next generation to consider a pathway that aligns with STEM.
It was great to have Louisa De Vries and her colleague Andrew from BOSCH visit last night. So good for our students to meet people like Louisa and Andrew passionate about engineering.
We are recruiting new undergraduates now! We look forward to hosting more workshops in Term 3. Students in Grade 5 to 8 curious about technology and or like making things might want to consider applying for these workshops.

Thank you MONASH MOTORSPORT (MMS)!

On Monday 14 students enrolled in Year 6 and 7 from Cornish College participated in a tour of Monash’s Makerspace. A big shout to Michaela Tyler Sykes, Lachlan Macphee, James Heffernan and Brandon Collis from Monash Motorsport for generously taking time out to share their day to share their passion for engineering in such a practical way.
These young curious students who had so many questions were also shown around the many engineering clubs and societies that work out of the Makersapce.
Angie Aulia on our Real Time Learning Team is also on the Monash Human Power Team. She and her colleague Rowan Goffin, spoke enthusiastically about their work with the MPH Team.
We are full of gratitude to the people at Monash University and BOSCH for sharing their passion for engineering this week. So great to be pack in person!
