Thank you GitLab for hosting “GitLab Connect Melbourne” at Crown today and thank you Andrew Chapman for the invitation to attend.

It was great to have Defence, Telstra, Google, Australian Bureau of Meteorology, Deloitte and Deakin share what they’re collectively learning about DevSecOps and how their organizations are partnering with GitLab to make their organizations more safe and secure.

“Tech Debt” a new phrase for me came up a few times. Interesting to learn how these organisations are making themselves more resilient.

As a passionate educator and now working as an IT Recruitment Consultant at Operandi Consulting, always interested to contemplate how we address such skills gaps.
