Students teaching Students! Loved seeing the obvious engagement in STEM at Black Rock PS today!

A huge shout out to Year 9 Students, Esther and Aiddy for helping Charlie Cheng from AI Cubed Academy share their lived experience and passion for First Lego League. Esther and Aiddy love to give back in the form of coaching First Lego League.

They also brought their First Robot along to show students the progression in First. Both Esther and Aiddy have competed in First Competitions overseas in Arkansaw, US on the International Stage. Who better qualified than these young budding engineers to share their knowledge and experience of robotics with students in Grade 5 and 6.

So good to see Black Rock PS now have 4 First Lego Teams. Congratulations to Adam Littlehales for your drive and enthusiasm to build such momentum.

It’s been so great to partner with schools like Black Rock PS. I’m always grateful for that first meeting at BOSCH and it has been an amazing ride. Thank you Gavin Smith for that first introduction!

Great to now have had 4 engineering students work with Black Rock PS since 2020. RTL Engineering Facilitators have studied Engineering at Monash University, RMIT University and Melbourne University.

Above, Serena Webster, 4 year Mechanical Engineering student is joined by Charlie Cheng, Founder of Ai Cubed Academy. Great to have Charlie provide RTL partner schools with Professional Development specifically focused on First Lego League.
