Want to know more about FIRST Lego League!

Gemma, an RTL Student Leader and passionate advocate for FIRST helped host PD for those wanting to start FIRST Lego League in their Schools and or STEM clubs.
Gemma, a student in Year 11 at Cornish College competes in all 3 levels of FIRST and is well qualified to speak on how one might get more involved in FIRST. Gemma is passionate about STEM and wants more students to share this passion for STEM. Gemma has just launched a new website for STEM enthusiasts to access great resources she has come across including resources for FIRST Lego League (FLL).
On Tuesday, Gemma and her team which includes other committee members from FIRST hosted an information session for schools and teams thinking about participating in FIRST Lego League. After a brief overview, participants could rotate through workshops that focused on different aspects of FIRST. Our team of Undergraduate Engineers and Teaching staff found the session extremely helpful.
Important to know that Pre-registrations for this year need to be in by April 10. Below is a link for teams to register.
A number of schools partnering with RTL’s Adopt an Engineer will have teams competing in FLL. We look forward to working with Gemma and her team as they continue to support the growth of and engagement with FIRST.
