These Year 6 Superstars take home robots they built at BOSCH’s Head Office over a series of 6 workshops starting several months ago.

Why wouldn’t they be smiling. We are super proud of the 13 students representing 10 different schools that includes students from Grade 5 through to Grade 9.

As always, I’m extremely grateful to Gavin Smith and the team at BOSCH for hosting our workshops and to undergraduates and engineers on our team that provide the mentoring.

So good to have Raj Murugan and Vanessa Seow (that have been on the team since 2017) mentoring the mentors and students when we first commenced workshops at BOSCH.

So good to have Gemma Wildermuth, Lenny Leufgens and Lahiru Abeysingha Gunawardena, all student leaders and alumni of course pictured below giving back to students that started out when they were that young.

Great to see new facilitators on the team following in the footsteps of Raj and Vanessa.

Great to see these young students having fun learning about engineering from role models passionate about engineering.

Some things are just better learnt in person. We’re not just talking about technical or hard skills but of course the Human Skills.
