Great to participate in a tour of “The Academy” after learning about the work of the newly established Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership
So great to see all sectors, Government, Catholic, Independent, K to 12 Schools supporting the Teaching Excellence Program (TEP).
Today was embarking on a journey that seeks to uncover the “Zones of mutual benefit”
My hope is that TEP will significantly boost Teacher morale in the state of Victoria. We might have a skills gap across all industries. Surely education can help address this skills gap.
We must empower Teachers that choose a vocation to inspire the next generation.
Professional Learning opportunities are critical, and I look forward to seeing how “The Academy” can help address the unsatisfactory working conditions contributing to low morale and burnout in our Teaching workforce.
This is critical if we are serious about addressing skills shortages.
