CEM’s STEM MAD definitely making a difference!

So good to be a part of Catholic Education Melbourne’s STEM MAD for a third year in a row only virtual of course this year. As always, blown away by the student led innovation largely done over many months of remote learning.
Shelley Waldon and her co-host Dr Buzz Palmer were very engaging MCs. A very capable team supporting behind the scenes as well!
Very inspiring keynotes from STEM Professionals speaking from very rich lived experience.
More and more we see the value of walking the least well-travelled path. Lots of lessons to be learnt from taking risks and staying curious.
A really nice mix of celebrating student innovation, punctuated with STEM challenges sent in the form of parcel sent ahead of time and of course the keynotes.
Key messages coming through…
Dream big
Stay Curious
Be okay with failure
Keep learning new things
Be Brave
Follow your passion
It’s never too late
Solve problems
Really great advice for our next generation!
